To apply with Maksimum Security, you must meet these minimum qualifications:
- Must be a Citizen of the United States of America or resident alien who has a demonstrated intent to become a citizen of the United States of America.
- Possession of high school diploma or a GED certificate.
- Must be at least 18 years of age for Basic certification and 21 years of age for armed.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license issued within the United States and have a clean driving record
- Must have no criminal history
- Never denied certification or had basic certification revoked by the Department of Public Safety Standards and Training (DPSST).
- Never terminated, for cause relating to dishonesty or misconduct, from employment in this state, any other state, territory or country.
- Not using marijuana or any other illegal drug.
